I started out today by waking up late (I blame day light savings) so I didn't get breakfast. After getting dressed, I went out to lunch with my family to Anthony's which is a really good pizza place. Pizza is one of the things I miss the most when I'm at school because pizza just isn't as good in the south. Look at how good this pizza looks! I tried to take a cute picture with my sister but she obviously didn't want to. What a party pooper. After lunch, we went out to see the Lego Movie. When I first saw the preview I thought it looked like the dumbest movie ever. Then it got amazing reviews and all my friends saw it and loved it so I just had to go see it. Lego Movie was not a disappointment! I don't want to give anything away so I'll just let you go see it for yourselves. Here's the preview. Also the song Everything is Awesome is super catchy and everyone was humming it leaving the theater. I can guarantee it will be stuck in my head for at least the next week. Next we went to Old Navy since they had a sale on their new Pixie Pants which are super cute! They were on sale for $25 and you get a free shirt with them. I'll post some pics of my outfits later this week. Barnes & Noble is right around the corner so we popped over there to get a cup of coffee and some books. I ended up buying the book on the left because it sounded like a good quick read that could keep me occupied over the next couple days since I'll be traveling a little. I also geeked out when I saw BJ Novak's book which will hopefully be my next book purchase. At B&N I got a vanilla macchiatto with light ice and nonfat milk which was so good! I normally get the caramel one but since they just came out with vanilla and hazelnut I wanted to give it a try. After B&N we came home and had dinner and just relaxed. Check in tomorrow to see where I'm taking a mini trip to! What's your favorite book right now? xoxo Natalie

1. #FashionbyMayhemA little girl named Mayhem and her mother make paper dresses together and it is the cutest thing I've ever seen! Some of the dresses are silly and most are fabulous. What's even better is that Mayhem isn't just the model, she helps design. Most of the pictures have a caption of a cute quote by her and she is absolutely fabulous! Below are some of my favorites of her dresses. Check out the blog here. And the Instagram here. 2. Idina Menzel singing 'Let it Go' live at the OscarsOh. My. God. Not only did she do such an amazing job but wow did she look beautiful. Also I always wanted to see her sing it live because I think its such a powerful song and I always imagined her getting really into it, which of course she did. Video Here. 3. 'Let it Go' winning an OscarI was so happy because I obviously love this song but also the "Thank you" speech was amazing! 4. Starbucks RewardsSo I found out through my cousin (who is also an amazing photographer) who works at Starbucks that if you register a gift card online you can get special rewards! If you're a frequent Starbucks junkie like me you should definitely sign up! This article does a good job of explaining it and giving some advice on how to best take advantage of the program. You can register your card here. 5. Nick RebootThis is a website that continuously plays 90s Nickelodeon TV shows and commercials, and also where I have been wasting all my time. Link here. What was your favorite part of the Oscars? xoxo Natalie |
