Ring Dance is probably the biggest tradition at Virginia Tech. Class rings mean a lot here, we are one of the only schools in the country that redesigns the class ring every year to be specific for that graduating class. To celebrate this we have a giant dance and celebration every year for the junior class when they receive their rings. I have been waiting since I was a freshman to get my ring. I remember looking up to the juniors and seniors and looking at their rings and thinking about how they've made it so far and have worked so hard to be able to wear that small symbol of Virginia Tech history. So enough of me going on and o about tradition and how much love my school, now for the good stuff...pictures! If you want to learn more about the tradition here's a short video on it! Here is a small one I got for everyday wear. I loved the design because it's simple. Here is my other ring! This is the traditional one that has our class design on it. Here's all the information about the symbolism of the ring design. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the night! an Oscars style selfie Easily one of my favorite nights of college. What is your favorite school tradition? xoxo Natalie
