Any kid of the millennial generation knows that Mean Girls wasn't just a super awesome movie but it became a way of life. I think it must be the most frequently quoted movie of all time, probably because almost every line is pure gold. OK I might be a little bias because it was written by Tina Fey (aka my idol) but it was a seriously good movie. It's been over 10 years since it first came out and you still hear it quoted all the time and it still plays on TV all the time (I might have watched it twice this week). In all seriousness Mean Girls had some great life lessons sprinkled in, along with the comedic genius, that everyone can learn from. 1. Anything can be a trend if you rock it.Regina George just oozes confidence and people worship her for it. Even when she is clearly wearing a terrible outfit she struts around and owns it and everyone else follows. She shows us that confidence is the most important part of any outfit. 2. Calling someone else fat won't make you any skinnier. This might just be the most important lesson from the movie. Don't make fun of others to try to make yourself feel better, you just end up with two hurt people in the end. 3. Don't pretend to be dumb to try to impress a boy.Girls do this far to often. If you are smart then be smart. If you like math then tell everyone you like it. Don't be afraid to show off your nerdy side for the sake of trying to impress someone. There is nothing wrong with being proud of who you are. 4. Girls need to stop hating each otherGirls are in constant competition with each other and it makes it hard to find support. Stop putting other girls down and start to stand together. and always remember ...xoxo Natalie
