So, selfies always get a lot of hate and I don't understand why. I think it's great that it's become popular to post pictures you took of yourself because it shows confidence. When you post a selfie it's like saying "hey world I think I look good today." What I like even more is that if it's a silly selfie then it shows that people are confident in being goofy. I saw this quote by Ezra Koenig the other day and I really liked it. "I’m definitely pro-selfie. I think that anybody who’s anti-selfie is really just a hater. Because, truthfully, why shouldn’t people take pictures of themselves? When I’m on Instagram and I see that somebody took a picture of themselves, I’m like, ‘Thank you.’ I don’t need to see a picture of the sky, the trees, plants. There’s only one you. I could Google image search ‘the sky’ and I would probably see beautiful images to knock my socks off. But I can’t Google, you know, ‘What does my friend look like today?’ For you to be able to take a picture of yourself that you feel good enough about to share with the world – I think that’s a great thing." I would defiantly say I am pro-selfie too. xoxo Natalie

I think that's actually very insightful! I used to kind of be embarrassed to take and post selfies, because I thought it had that negative connotation associated with it. But now it's become to mainstream, and fun!! I enjoy classic selfies, as well as goofy ones ^_^
