So on Wednesday I had a bunch of my sorority sisters over to do some crafting for the new littles and decided I should make them some cookies for Pinsday! I have been eyeing this picture of Cinnamon French Toast cookies for a while and decided to make those but when I clicked the link it was spam. :( :( I googled a recipe for the cookies and found this one I'll show you today! What I like about it is that it has really simple ingredients. Cinnamon French Toast Cookies!Ingredients:
My first problem was that I don't have premixed cinnamon sugar so I looked up the correct proportions because I felt like it shouldn't be 50/50. In case you have the same problem it is 1 tbsp cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Combine flour, sugar, butter, egg and syrup into a large bowl and mix well! 3. Form into little balls (about an inch) and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mix, and place the balls on a parchment lined cookie sheet. 4. Press them down gently so you get flat little cookie shapes. 5. Bake for 15 minutes. 6. Enjoy! My recommendation is only a 3/5 because if you don't eat them when they are warm they get hard pretty fast. But if you eat them when they are fresh they are super yummy!! As always let me know if you try it!
