Between Ring Dance and my sorority's formals last weekend I did 4 peoples makeup including my own. As fun as it was my make up brushes got pretty dirty. I sat down on Sunday to clean them and couldn't find any cleaner so I decided to check pinterest for any DIY tutorials. So here it goes... Step 1I used one tablespoon of each and it cleaned all the brushes I have pictured. Step 2Mix it until it froths a little. Step 3The mixture should be really gross looking. Step 4Make sure to rinse until they don't feel soapy or oily anymore. Ring out any excess water in the brushes and reshape them if needed. So simple and you probably already have the ingredients. A lot of my brushes are now almost as clean as when I first got them so I would say it was a success! My only recommendation is to use a plate instead of a jar like i used because it was really hard to swirl the brushes with shorter handles. Based on this original pin. Let me know if you try this!
